Perilla seed oil is obtained from the mature seeds of perilla, a medicinal plant of the family Peristome, and is a natural oil with a high unsaturated content of α-linolenic acid, with a content of up to 50-70%, which is the highest content of this fatty acid among all natural vegetable oils found so far. α-linolenic acid is recognized worldwide as a health product for the 21st century, and the World Health Organization strongly recommends an important polyunsaturated fatty acid that lowers blood pressure, lowers blood lipids, lowers blood sugar, and prevents coronary heart disease and stroke; The essential fatty acids that must be added to infant formula in most countries in the world. In view of the importance of α-linolenic acid and the general underestimation of human beings, the World Health Organization and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations recommend a special supplement α-linolenic acid.
